Installation

Updating

For small updates you can modify the source directly on GitHub and the site will rebuild.

For any significant changes it is better to make your changes on your local machine, so you can preview what they will look like:

1. Make sure you have Hugo installed (see above)
2. Make sure you have the source code (using git clone) and it is up-to-date (using git pull)
3. Run hugo server and point your browser to http://localhost:1313/
4. Make changes (the page should automatically reload with your changes)
5. Once you’re happy, commit your changes and push to master. The site should update automatically.

Updating job listings

• Add or remove files inside data/jobs/
• If adding a new file, copy the format of an existing file

Front-end dependencies

The site is using Bootstrap 4 and Font Awesome.

To update the version of Bootstrap:

1. Change the version in package.json
2. Run npm install or npm update
3. Run gulp to copy the files to the correct place

(This assumes you have npm installed)
